We were honored to begin 2026 by presenting our first Light of Love Awards of the year, recognizing two individuals whose lives reflect kindness, humility, and love in action.

The Light of Love Award exists to honor those who quietly shine — individuals whose compassion and character leave a lasting impact on those around them. This year’s first recipients beautifully embody that spirit.

Amanda Gibbs

Amanda Gibbs was recognized for her steady leadership, selflessness, and genuine care for others. Her presence creates a sense of consistency and calm that is deeply felt by both staff and students. She leads with heart, humility, and grace — making a meaningful difference every day through her actions rather than words. Her approach to leadership is gentle, authentic, and very Aubrey-like.

Mason West

Mason West was honored for the way his character reflects growth, humility, kindness, and love. He is someone whose light does not seek attention yet shines steadily through his actions. Mason embodies what Aubrey’s Love stands for — a young person who leads with heart and shows others what it means to live with compassion and sincerity.

This presentation was especially meaningful as Abigail was able to join us, allowing us to share this moment together as a family. Moments like these remind us that Aubrey’s light continues to live on through others.

We are grateful to celebrate individuals who choose love, lead with kindness, and help make our community brighter. As we step into a new year, we are thankful to begin 2026 with love leading the way.
