Resources for Our Community

Access helpful tools and support inspired by Aubrey’s legacy.

Resources to Support and Strengthen Our Community

When Aubrey passed, our family experienced firsthand how important support, guidance, and community can be. In the hardest seasons, even small resources can make a meaningful difference.

This page was created to share trusted tools, organizations, and guidance for students, families, and community members. Whether you are navigating grief, preparing for college, supporting a classroom, or looking to serve, we hope you find something here that helps.

If you need support not listed below, please reach out. We are always willing to listen and connect you with available resources.

Grief & Family Support

Loss and hardship can feel overwhelming. While every journey is personal, you do not have to walk it alone. These organizations and resources offer support for individuals and families navigating grief:

  • Bereaved Parents of the USA – A peer-to-peer support network for grieving parents and families to connect, share stories, and find hope together.

  • GriefShare – Faith-based grief support groups

  • National Alliance for Children’s Grief – Resources for grieving children and teens

  • 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – Call or text 988 for immediate support

  • Local counseling centers and faith-based support ministries in North Alabama

If you are a family in our community seeking guidance, we encourage you to reach out. We will do our best to help connect you with local support.

Student & Scholarship Resources

We believe education opens doors and builds confidence for long-term success. The following tools may help students as they prepare for college or career opportunities:

  • College application checklist and timeline resources

  • Resume and interview preparation tips

  • Local workforce development and technical training programs

Students are encouraged to speak with their school counselor for additional local opportunities.

Educator & School Support

We are proud to partner with schools throughout our region. If you are an educator or administrator seeking collaboration, we welcome the opportunity to connect.

Resources and opportunities may include:

  • Light of Love Award nominations

  • Scholarship information and application timelines

  • Classroom supply support initiatives

Strong communities are built through service and partnership. If you would like to get involved with Aubrey’s Love Foundation, we invite you to:

  • Volunteer at events

Together, we can plant seeds of hope that grow for generations.

A Note from Amy -

Aubrey’s Love was created to transform grief into purpose. What began as heartbreak has become a mission to uplift students, support schools, and serve our community with kindness.

If you are walking through a difficult season or simply looking for a way to give back, we hope this page reminds you that you are not alone — and that even small acts of love can create lasting impact.
