Aubrey’s Love Foundation is honored to recognize Jamie Emerson and Mayela Juarez as our May Light of Love Award recipients.

The Light of Love Award was created in memory of Aubrey to celebrate students and staff who reflect the qualities she carried so naturally — kindness, compassion, encouragement, service, and making others feel seen, valued, and supported. These awards recognize the quiet but powerful ways individuals positively impact their school communities each day.

Jamie Emerson is recognized for the dedication, care, and encouragement shown to those around them. Through everyday actions, Jamie demonstrates a commitment to supporting others and creating a positive and uplifting environment. The kindness and compassion shared with students and colleagues alike truly embody the spirit of this award.

Mayela Juarez is recognized for the kindness, character, and positive influence she brings to her school community. Through compassion, encouragement, and the way she treats others, Mayela reflects the heart of the Light of Love Award and reminds us how meaningful small acts of kindness can be.
