🌻 Our First Scholarship Recipients: Honoring Aubrey’s Legacy
On May 9, 2025, we had the profound honor of awarding the very first Elizabeth Aubrey Tucker Memorial Scholarships at Athens High School — a moment filled with love, remembrance, and purpose.
The ceremony was made even more special through the words of Mrs. Amanda Tedford, Principal at Academy at Athens Elementary, who graciously spoke on behalf of our family:
“Aubrey’s divine gift of empathy, compassion, goodwill, and kindheartedness was not selective — it extended freely to family, friends, and strangers alike. She gave of herself without expecting anything in return and always sought the best in people, meeting others with deep understanding and grace…”
Aubrey lived a life of service — whether through her studies in nursing and education, her involvement in HOSA, or her quiet daily acts of kindness. She believed in showing up for others, and her memory continues to inspire us to do the same.
This scholarship was created to support students who share that same calling — those pursuing careers rooted in service, care, and compassion.
